Cole broke his trackhoe bucket off. This is one of his favorites, the one I made the thumb for a while back.

 

Just build the whole thing in metal - you're about due

It won't be today, working on one of those jobs that makes my brain hurt right now. If I was working on a job where I could let the mill run, maybe

 

Saw this odd sight out in the dooryard

...oh wow, a puddle!

Poured here for about a 1/2 hour -- and stopped. I can hear the grass growing...

 

The sudden humidity increase isn't bothering me today.
Finally finished up a little garage improvement project I've been working on.


I now have the luxury of an 18,000 btu air conditioner plus an old furnace blower for an exhaust fan.
The hatch on the bottom left opens too.
Entire job was stuff I had around except a new capacitor for the blower and the hinges. $35.

 

Just askin’ but with the exhaust fan so close to the A/C, doesn’t the cold air get sucked outside before it can do it’s job?

 

I hadn't intended on using them at the same time.

The building is block, there was a big steel frame window in the opening.
(That frame was tougher to remove than I had anticipated...)

There is a automatic shutter on the discharge of the fan.

As much as I dislike working with wood I figured I might as well make it a multipurpose project.

I haven't been on a boat in 35 years, never owned a boat and don't even like the water in general.
