No you would either have buy a dash or send me your dash..the $1100 covers labor and soundman ipad kit…most people buy an extra dash so they can it back to factory if they ever trade in vehicle but if you are not gonna trade it then you could just send me yours, up to u

So as far as the iPad functionality goes, could you pull up your music and have it play through the radio speakers? Would that depend on the radio you get to hide behind the iPad?

 

Absolutely you have all of your apps right there, and everything plays thru your car speakers. I still have all of my steering wheel controls, everything. I could easily use the tacoma factory radio to work if u didnt want to buy an aftermarket deck. I recently purchased a stinger heigh10 deck to just try amd go back to a deck to see if I would miss my iPad. Ended up removing it after a week and going back to my ipad, the ipad gives u everything a stereo can plus alot more!

Yes the steering wheel controls are connected to my stereo which changes songs on the ipad just like you have your phone connected to the tacoma factory deck and it changes songs for you
