Yes, it did move on me.

If anything its the runout in the head that makes this a terrible mill setup...

This is the machine I started on when I was hired back in 1986. Myford cylindrical grinder

 

Everything was hand ground on that but nowadays we have cnc machines that core out the glass or mill odd shapes.

 

Every thing is plastic!!
