https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...b-build-bs-thread.427983/page-2#post-12634895 Updated source of the AC drain extension.

FWIW, while I was working for Idaho Fish and Games, Fishery Research on an instream flow measurement statewide project, we stopped by the Lewiston office and watched Mike Schlegel (game biologist) trying to move a pine marten from a live trap to a travel crate. They're like cats, but with nastier teeth and claws, so I told Mike, "Hold on a minute," went out to my '69 VW Squareback, returned with a length of cut poly baler twine (We pick those up when feeding cattle, never leave that stuff on the ground.), threaded it through the travel crate and into the Have-a-Hart trap. Easy to get him/her playing with the baler twine, less than a minute without struggle, so I left Mike with that tool.
42 years later, I wonder if I was partly responsible in that trade bringing wild turkeys from South Dakota in exchange for pine marten from central Idaho. One afternoon, there was a tom loudly occupying the left turn lane for people turning north on US-95. One of those stupid things done that I've seen in WA-ID-MT is feeding wild turkeys next to your new home. Don't call me for help getting into your house, driveway, garage... I quit refilling my neighbor's bird feeder, since it's summertime, and a few squirrels had been gorging themselves. I did get a hilarious video from above, as the squirrel's rear end was on the hopper lid, with front feet on the tiny platform, scrabbling through the seeds with his front end spinning the platform and the rear going with the "equal and opposite reaction" (Isaac Newton science for the day). That episode ended with a back flop on the ground. No injury... and no collision with the birds on the ground picking up some of those seeds. The farms and woods may be disappearing, but the critters are still around..

Sometimes the mods will let it run free as long as too many rules aren't broken

Moved the golden girls one by one to the new coop, ripped the fence of the old coop down, removed the chicken door, and placed the trap and nasty can of catfood in the coop so it has to go into the trap to try and get to it. Now we wait..
(I dont think any predators will be out tonight in this pouring assed rain though..)
