Well said my friend. I always consider that when making a purchase. I'm loyal also, and will go back to companies like this, that put their heart into things.

In those cases, you’re looking at the wrong vendors. You need to be looking at more mass produced and sometimes inferior products. Even then, 4-10 weeks or more is not uncommon even with them. Your situation while respectable, is not the norm.

Being in manufacturing, lead times on raw materials have gotten crazy. Something that would normally take a 1-2 days to get, now takes 1-2 weeks. And that's even when you have leverage when buying volume. I can't imagine what small businesses are having to deal with considering smaller quantities. I do appreciate your situation. There is a front bumper I want but the leads are way out there and I'd rather use that $ elsewhere than tie it up in something I'll be waiting 3-4 months for. I'm just waiting for all of the craziness to settle.

Finally found a switch plate for drivers side that can house what I need. Yay for the pro and all these switches :/

I got one from Guild Outfitters, nobody has anything in stock or they don’t have that OEM look because of 3-D printing. I’m a picky SOB. Although, I needed a button to the right of my Auxbeam hole.

All happy and go to install it and I don’t know if this is specific to the pro (I doubt it), there is no way to have a button there as there is a mounting stub for something I can’t figure out what, behind where the button would go. Kind of annoyed it’s for a 3rd Gen and no mention it won’t work. Out comes the Dremel and some fancy carving without ruining the bottom of the mount that has a bolt to the dash. Tedious to say the least, but it worked.

Also, I had to trim the hole 1-2mm in about 3-4 spots for it to fit. If I ever have to pop this out again it’s going to be a PIA to get out because it’s so tight but it’s in and looks great. I guess it’s better to be too tight than loose though.

I joined the forum late last week and have been busy reading.

New tires were installed a week ago (before I joined up here.)
    IMG_20220823_115133.jpg

Made a couple of plates that bolt into the bed tracks to carry misc items.
    IMG_20220823_114725.jpg IMG_20220823_114900.jpg

I installed a pop and lock on the tailgate. Didn't take any install pics, pretty boring stuff. Here's the spare actuator, in case anyone cares. You get two from Amazon for $15 cdn, hard to beat that. Ran wiring to the driver b pillar and tapped into rear door.
    IMG_20220823_120923.jpg

I also extended the a/c drain to miss the frame, and greased the u joints.

On my to do list is a litre of atf so I can check the trans fluid level, and some spray cans of cosmoline to do some rust proofing. I'm sure I'll find more to do as I troll around, lol.

PS, I actually cleaned up the engine bay a bit today too, lol.

Added some roof bars and 1.25 blocks to the rear, it had a lean to it with the topper and some gear in the back

Kuat makes awesome racks. I'm assuming that rack locks. Nice bikes.

You can lock the bikes to the rack. Has built-in cables to do that. Rack and Pivot both have locking hitch pins too.
