In the drum -- that just made my day.

 

Yeah...

It morbidly kept drawing me in yesterday, burned a lot of time...and yes I already checked this morning.

 

Makes sense to me...

 

That is some well-made, precision equipment!

 

It's got an aluminum casing around a rubber inner sleeve. I just trimmed like .010 off to make it clear the case. I didn't want to compromise the waterproof case by trying to clearance it when the rubber plug that covers the port is made snug to the existing hole.

 

That works!

Cole loves to take stuff apart, cleaning up afterwards.....he's like the rest of us, that's the part that is no fun. A guy told me the other day he deals with the same thing with his son and it drives him nuts. Instead of letting it drive him nuts he started helping him clean up.

Last night it was time for him to get a shower and we ask him to put all this stuff up and put the dryer parts in the back of the Duramax. Instead of continually telling him he missed this or that doesn't go there, I helped him. Made for a much more pleasant time and I know stuff got put where it should be and most every screw got picked up.

I got to thinking about what that guy said, in years to come will Cole remember me fussing at him or helping him
