Anybody remember those aluminum/pot metal rockets you could stick a couple of caps in them then throw them up in the air?

I had one too. Found out if you took the little screen out of the end you could get a little flash at night. My friends and I would play with them endlessly on Summer nights after dinner. Good times.

At least in my area the ring style were a pain to find. This was late 1970s.

We had plastic cap rockets but we blew them up quickly by putting in too many caps. Then we found out we could make a Cap rocket with any old nail and a little spring, and various common junk.

Of course we put too many caps in those and blew them up as well, and when they came apart things flew!

I found our VCR to not be working one day and, upon careful inspection, I discovered one of my son's Batman figures was wedged inside. I though it was part of the VCR until I looked real close. I used to find them tied up in various places in the house, taped to chairs, wedged into an HVAC register. I'm not sure what was going on here; my son may be the Joker.

I got to meet Moe in Bangkok around 1965. Was just him, on his own.
He was looking just like this photo and asked if I thought he wore a wig for the show.
He then reached up and wiped all of his hair forward for the bangs.
We talked for about 5-10 mins and I was laughing almost the whole time! One funny guy with or without a script. Will never forget that time.

Why I made extra copies !

That seemed to happen all to often.

I really miss my 8 track player.
