Tell them that you will buy it, if they teach you how to drive it.

That price is nuts, but sadly someone will pay it. Not a lot of justification for the adds nor the asking price aside from pure profit. Demand > supply.
I got mine from Corwin in Boulder. Treated me OK and no BS. Paid a small premium on top of MSRP but then again I was on the demand side of the equation.

    OP,

Your dealer is trying to fuck you in the ass.

Also it's white so the paint will fall off.

RUN LIKE HELL from that dealer.

Hey OP, I bought my truck through Stapp last year. They are one of the main Costco Auto Program dealers for the denver area. If you don't have a costco membership, it's worth it just for the auto program discount. I was able to get 3.8% lower than MSRP for my SR5 through the program and they only have one salesmen (Michael) who runs the program, he was easy to work with! Give it a shot.

Heck no. Just a big fat no. That is $2000 worth of crappy parts.

Tacoma isn’t that nice to a truck. It’s a $35k-$40k truck. If you were going to spend $65k…go look at f150. You can get a much nicer truck for that price

I'll throw in a " offer them 39000" and tell them your being generous. That price in Canada is 85000,no fn way is it even remotely worth close to that. It's not the truck you want and the new truck feeling will wear out quick. Remember also your friends will be laughing at you behind your back or face for paying so much for an sr5. Read it is supposed to be an off road truck to begin with but I have my doubts since the dealer seems kind of sleazy

That sure is a lot of money but man that is a beautiful truck! Just not too much on the seat design though but you can always change that later. If you can afford it go for it!

Dealers around here have TRD offroad 4wd new for 35-38 list. I've been shopping new and used F150s, prices there are crazy too. It used to be 31-33 for an STX 4wd 2.7L F150 but now it's 45 .

What are you talking about? Tacomas are the best truck on earth!!! They sure are better than any fords can dream to be!! Also may as well get that V6 engine new while you can before Toyota possibly kills it in the 2024 model!

I would never buy a dealer modified vehicle. Way overpriced and I'd rather spec the things I want. For example, on that lift are the rear springs stock or upgraded? Stock spring will start sagging before that is even off the lot ;)

    Complete rip off!!!

I25 package doesn't even exist, except for them, because they're located on...

    wait for it...

    Interstate 25.

I know a kid in High School who could make a much better looking flyer than that POS MS Word document.

Run far and fast! Even if they DO find your unicorn, you're going to get hosed on it... absolutely no reason to do business with a dealer that's not going to stick with MSRP and "normal" pricing for add-ons.

HAHAHA. The 2022 that I have coming in next month looks just like this. Off-Road, M/T with the XP Predator package and the TRD lift. My total is $44k before taxes thanks to the dealer offering me a Costco discount on the truck and lift kit. Pretty much threw in the TRD skid plate.

Just saying that waiting a month for that exact truck is $20k in savings. Unreal.

You forgot to mention the space age drum brake technology and paint that fades/peels off quickly so that you can repaint it in whatever color you choose.

Just got off the phone with Stevenson down in Denver. They put me on their list, no deposit needed, I realize that it may take them longer due to not taking deposits and likely having a longer list but at least it gets me away from the shady Stapp gougers.

I mean.... if you are gonna pay that price why not get the new Tundra or Sequoia if you are getting an automatic? Even if you want a Taco the 2024 redesign will likely be revealed by this time next year. Just a silly purchase all around even if the money ain't a thing, IMO.

I would call around dealers in the suburbs and buy an offroad model in red or magnetic. Not sure why you are so horny to blow 65k on a tacoma, it's almost like you are trolling us.

Of course there are people in this thread who think that 65k tacoma is cool too lol.
