I ordered one from dealer with free shipping. But before I found that deal, I had ordered an open box one off Ebay on friday about noon. Seller never informed me that he was out of stock until today, although I got 2 different shipping notifications AND Ive been charged for it at my bank. Not pending, but charged. I informed him that he needs to cancel the order and submit a refund. He replied that there was no order to cancel and he didnt need to do anything. I called Ebay help desk and they said he could have done it on his end. Guy is just a dick I guess. So now, Ive got to wait until Wed, call back Ebay help desk on the phone in order to get my refund. Obviously guy has been reported.
Never had an issue like that on Ebay.

 

Pretty sure the gator mat weighs about 30 lbs to.

 

That is the one that I am going to buy. I went to my local Tractor Supply on Saturday, and the guy there recommended this size. It's a lot cheaper too. I don't mind that it doesn't cover the entire bed, but it does cover the majority of it. He said it wasn't in stock, but should be in by Wednesday.

When it arrives, I'll go pick it up, install it and take pictures of what it looks like. In case anyone else decides to go this route.

 

So it turns out the seller on Ebay DID have it in stock, even though he told me he didnt. I got it delivered today. But since I didnt think it was coming, I ordered one from the dealer (freeship code) and that has just shipped today, so too late to cancel. I guess Im going to end up having 2 of them...LOL. At least they were only 80 bucks each. Maybe Ill stack em and taking a nap in the bed...What a clusterfuk...

 

I bet it wouldn't be a hard sell local unless you live in BFE

This, or you may ask the dealer if they’ll keep it, it’s a common item, they’ll just use it on the next Tacoma they sell. I’ll all for honoring a deal, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. If they don’t, then you know how they’ll treat you in the future.

 

True, but this dealer is not local to me. I doubt Id do business with them again anyways. It was just the best price I could find with the freeship code. Ill honor it, its really not too big of a deal. Just think its funny how I couldnt find any at first, and then end up with 2 at a pretty decent price. "Ask and you shall receive"

Found another use for my "spare" bedmat. Dont know why Id need a spare.. Maybe could get stolen?
In the meantime, why sell it when it makes such a perfect fit to work under the project car....LOL.
