Thank you so much for this. I just finally got around to updating, this indeed does work. Remember the factory code password is 3368 and you have to reset some things after updating. I haven't had a lot of time to see what is new, but I did notice I could now use Paramount Plus and actually play videos (before it would give me some error code).

Does anyone know how to turn off the dynamic parking lines, the ones that come one when you put it in reverse? They are backwards on my unit and it really annoying

Give me a few minutes to research. I stopped checking on updates since I am still running the original joying that they stopped updating 2 years ago.

FWIW, I'm not sure I want to update my HU right now. I switched phones from Android to IOS in the past few weeks and Carplay has been working beautifully for me.

not really. IMO, it breaks more things than it fixes.

went from a updated v12 pixel 4a to a razr on v11. nothing of value was lost. most alterations are in the google assistant/voice side. it still can't understand my city-fied country twang.

Yes sir, Android 12 now. Really made no difference though. Had to redo all my settings again.

Does anybody know how to set car link to launch immediately when starting up truck? I know there’s car launchers that can be used to change interface but I’m trying to just set car link to start up right away since I only use carplay

I use the AGAMA car launcher as a replacement from the default launcher. AGAMA has a auto launch feature that will auto start any app or multiple apps after startup. You can also specify a delay for the launch to ensure your phone has connected via bluetooth/wifi prior to starting car link.

Joying in a 2nd gen. Car Launcher Pro. It wants to connect to the iPhone when I get in.

Thought a all in one SW would be an easy install. As small as it is it barely fits under the passenger seat.

    the ravages of time...

i swear, this was a centrafuse or roadrunner/riderunner car computer front end screen, circa 2000-2008.

but i can't find it anymore.

Mine did it for a while after a full reboot. Then randomly started popping up google maps. It's really annoying. But I've gotten into the habit of hitting the back button when I start my truck.

So I know this is an old thread but I'm hoping somebody has an answer I just installed this head unit and everything works fine on it except for the fact that every time I turn off my car and turn it back on this comes on and it won't go away unless I hit the reset button any suggestions? Not sure if my unit is faulty and I should try another one or if I'm just missing something20221003_132858.jpg
