Front View Camera

I want to mount a camera on the top of an ARB bumper and display the image on my Pioneer AVIC-Z100BT. I was looking at the Pioneer camera but have been told the image is always reversed. So i have been looking into Boyo cameras. I have been looking at these models:
VTB301
VTB201
VTB500

Is one of these camera gonna work for my purpose or is there another camera model that would work?

I want the camera to be looking forward and down so that I can see over a hill when offorading and help when parking in tight spaces.

 

a lot of the boyo cameras come with a little switch that allows you to use it for a front or back camera, or mirrored or non mirrored image. All three of those can do both so you should be ok, I've done a few front cameras in the past but all were flushed mounted units. I installed a vt201 not to long ago it was a fairly good unit, only thing I really did not like about it was it did not give a very big range of motion for the tilt, but I was also mounting it on top of sprinter truck so.....

I want one too. My Boyo and Kenwood HU allowed me to choose mirrored or not for the rear camera. I want to do a camera for the front too and install a selector switch. Figure once I have a switch in the system, I could install a bunch of cameras, selecting the view I wanted. The hood stands too tall for me to see what's happening near the front edge of my truck.

Although some days, I wish I could have camera's on all sides of my truck recording the idiot drivers. It would be nice to have video in court when one side-swipes me.
