What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed some mevotech supreme LCAs and finally got around to clearancing the US Offroad winch bumper to accept some BAMF FBRBs. There is a vertical brace on the winch mount that is in the way of the lowest through bolt so I need to figure something out there but otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with the snug fit and design of it. Seems very sturdy.

 

Just installed Freedom Off-Road upper and lower control arms and two inch spacers on my Rancho Quicklifts up front. Finally sitting level I'm guessing around 4" up from stock

 

For those who run wheel spacers. Do you have them on front and back or just the front to clear the UCAs? I think when I get 285s soon I will probably need some. My 265s seem pretty close already.

 

What did you do to make the US Offroad and BAMF brace fit? I had to cut about 3/8 inch off the bottom of the BAMF brace. The bottom bolt was a PITA. Ended up using a 1.5 inch bolt and fed it inside out.

 

I run them to space my wheels back out from the lift as well as my wheels have very little backspacing running 285/75r16. The Total Chaos UCAs have a lot of clearance already but I'm sure the spacers don't hurt. I've got 1.5" spacers front and 1" rear to match.

 

I trimmed about 1/4" off of either outside edge of the USO mounting flange to flush it up with the stock chassis side flange. I also cut the boxes off the frame horn things so the bottom of the BAMF brace would clear. I may cap them in the future but for now is just sprayed them with enamel.

I considered doing what you did with the back bolt but the intended design is for that bolt to be in tension (the 5-1/2" bolt sandwiching the bumper to the frame with the ear of the BAMF bracket.) Without performing that function, putting hardware there didn't seem worth it to me. Trying to feed a bolt like that is the sort of thing that makes me come unglued

 

I have 2" spacers on top of my quick lift ranchos and three inch blocks in back, I added he spacers after installing the Freedom Off road UCA & LCA and realizing I had three more inches of suspension above where the truck was sitting. Not sure spacers on lift shocks is totally proper but it is working well so far

 

O yeah I hit a mile marker this weekend.

Same here, when I ran spacers.

 

I found the stupid squeak in my drivers door and then was so excited i forgot to take pictures. LOL

I had two loose nuts towards hinge side of door

 

Replaced this little fucker. We’re back in business. Took about 45 min.

 

I install these lights today and enclosed the pictures of what they are and how bright they are I realize that I have a white truck which would make him even look brighter, but I like them it's all that matters this is For Your Entertainment

Is that a float for fuel gauge. Sorry if dumb question I’ve only had a Tacoma for a month

 

I have looked at those several times. There is glare in your picture so a little hard to tell if red portion looks good. Do you like the red lights?

Had been debating sumo springs vs. AAL to enhance payload. Went with to sumo springs and have been pleasantly surprised with how effective they have been when loaded and unloaded.

To answer your question the white glare is because of the way the camera took the pictures the reds are visible very visible actually in the dark I don't have a problem with them in my case your results may be different but I'm more than satisfied with them.
