    I'm being cryptic...lol!

    Not on purpose.

Basically, you did well describing your new Tacoma.

You were honest and extemporaneous in your video.

I don't think I could have pulled off having a discussion like you did about my Sport.

    You did well!

Everyone keeps saying this yet literally no one is ordering these things. I'm pretty sure they're not ordering anymore of this color from ppg lmao.

Not how that works. Toyota doesn’t build based on orders, they’ll allocate them to dealers and already announced it’ll be available on Sport and Off-road. They’ll be showing up eventually to lots.

This happens every year the Pro owners try to convince themselves their color is special this year and then next year realize it’s not.

It will be recycled but for now it’s special and controversial. Everyone hates the colors when they first come out and people rip on the color, make fun of people who buy it etc. then it’s standard the next year or years. And people’s preferences evolve.

Not always the case, 17 pro everyone loved cement and was well received, army green and lunar rock were well received as well.

That was quicksand and army green. Lunar rock critics said it was too feminine. Been here awhile and have owned them since 03, all gens and configs.

Take a look at the lunar rock thread. Plenty of baby shit comments. Anyway, we are in a dumb internet argument. Eject! Eject!

I don’t know man, I feel like there’s no reason to troll and try to attack folks here. Been seeing a lot of that lately. Anyway, no hard feelings.

Well, they do build orders for some people. But their production is definitely based on sales. Why build 5 black and 5 elm if the black immediately sell and the elm sit for way longer because no one wants this awful color?

anyway, doesn't bother me, in a year and a half I'll get a new one in whatever new dumb color they offer.

They do not. They do special request allocations but you cannot order or build a truck. Regions will allocate certain build specs they think sell better in their region, etc. but ya I agree there is no rhyme or reason, you definitely pre pandemic would see certain colors and trims sit longer on lots. I got a crazy deal on my 2019 Sport in November of 2019 during Toyotathon cause it was a Sport. It will be interesting to see if they offer a PRO for the 2024 redesign and what the color will be, they did skip a year in 2016 with the 3rd gen but they didnt with the new Tundra and I think they know how important it is for the model and sales.
