The wife's replacement 4runner arrived yesterday. Same as the last buy 2 years newer. 2018 sr5 premium 4wd.
She's a little bummed it's not nautical blue like the one that got totalled but once I black out the chrome, put the rola roof basket, predator steps, FN FX pros and wildpeaks on from the last one it should look pretty nice. Thanks for all those who suggested to go recover my non stock stuff before USAA took it to the yard!

 

I'm glad that worked out. I love my White truck. Maybe the color will grow on her. We will be looking forward to seeing the modifications.

$41,631 out the door from Carvana. But they are sending me a check for $500 from my sisters referral code. She will get $100 as long as we keep it, and I was supposed to get $500 off the price but I had already ordered the car so they are sending a check instead.

USAA gave us $40,571.99 for the vehicle (tax,tag title) waived my deductible (1k) and $8104.80 for car replacement assistance. (I pay $20 extra every 6 months for this)

So I should pocket about $7500 all said and done.

plus I should be able to get a few buck selling the steps off the new one and the wheels and tires. Tires are brand new. Nothing special, just some Ironman suv tire but still, they are new 265/70r17's

 

I like the white too. She likes it, but just loved her blue b/c she didn't ever see too many of them compared to the other colors.

true, and I told her that too. But then I just started showing her pics of lifted white 4runners and it started growing on her more and more lol. I think I'm in the clear now.

 

That was my thought. Take some of the $7500 and get it wrapped by a professional and she'll be happy. But again you now have a stormtrooper build

 

Well, we all know Superwhite is the best color.

Speaking from a guy who has had a wrap, just leave it white. Spend that money elsewhere. Slimline winch bumper?

It’s in ATL and I got rid of that crazy flex hump. While I will miss it, my buddy that lives in the basement apartment has a tricked out civic, will it miss the hump.
