you had factory heated seats you were fixing or you added it to them? Curious down in the states only the limited had them on 2nd gen mostly. The wiring is there for switches though if you dig through but some pieces were missing. I ended up just using an aftermarket regulator and switches but if I could get factory wiring to work even better. One less thing to have go wrong.

Bought from RealTruck who is a vendor here. Actually ordered the wrong rears and they took care of me quick... Recommend them for parts and such.

I'm guessing you had to drop the tank to get to it. How many miles are you at that it needed to be replaced? I don't think I have seen anyone else replacing it.

Installed the charger tray in the engine bay. I have a

$125 Noco Genpro10x1 : 1-Bank, 10A Onboard Battery Charger - 10A Per Bank, 12V Waterproof Marine Charger with Overcharge Protection & Temperature Compensation – for Lead-Acid & Lithium Batteries

Noco Genpro10x1 but i never had the time to install it. One of my friend started a Laser Cutting business few month ago and we tried some design last week. The tray fit perfectly and it's just the right angle with the 2 bolts fender side.

Next thing will be to install the 120v plug outlet inside the front bumper. I will use the Noco AC port. The support bracket design is still in progress. It will be so easy now in the winter to just plug it and leave it. Sometime i don't use the truck for a few day and i do many short trip. I hope this will extend the service time of the battery. Well the last one lasted 8 year with this method on my last vehicule, but with this setup i don't need to pop the hood and route the cord extension everytime. A very welcome thing when the temperature is around -20 Celcius.

 

That looks awesome. My next project is cleaning up wiring and I was looking at building something like this.

 

It started when the vehicle shut off with no check engine light and have been reading 1/2 tank for oddly for multiple days. Before going crazy, did the basic pour some gas(about 2 gal) and fire right up. So it was clear to me, I tan outta fuel. No warning low fuel light, sitting for longer than normal in the middle and no check engine light. The fuel sending unit can be replaced without the need of changing the fuel pump. On a double cab you have to drop the tank to gain access, I believe you can gain access to the fuel pump by removing the bed (fuck that process) when removed the old it was reading the same resistance across the contact zone. Remove, replaced, hook up hoses(5) and connector(1) secure straps and reconnect the battery and send it. Now my gauge it’s reading as it should. My truck is Sitting at 128k and the tank was surprisingly clean and all the hardware was in perfect shape.

 

Doesn't sound to difficult. But seems odd it went out at 128k. And I'm sure if your tank was full then you might have wanted to remove the bed lol.

When it comes to the fuel sending unit taking a crap I have read some had issues as early as low 80’s and some
Others have zero issues past 200k, so who knows and no, once I put 2 gal. Of gas and I’m aware of my mpg’s load some extra 4 gal. And that gave me enough gas for me to move around, get money, order the fuel sending unit and lower it with a 1/4 of gas. Never a good idea to run dry. Again, as I mentioned before, since I have a double cab, the pump assy. Sits under the cab so removing the bed was pointless. I only needed one jack, one jack stands and a piece of wood(6x1x20) over the jack to balance the tank down and then slide out. Removed the rear left wheel for ease of access. From start to finish under 45 min.

 

My truck lost a lot of weight today…. (Sold my cap for cheap).

Just a heads up. the lights don't come with gaskets at least mine didn't, (transfer from old lights), and you will have to trim tab on the reverse of the new lights, just copy from the old.

The new lights fit either side.

Start to finish 10 minutes.
