I got the TSB done 6 weeks ago and couldnt be happier. Correct if I'm wrong, but doesnt the dealer have to do the TSB if the customer complains about it? I went in and told them i wanted it done and the only thing they said to me was that it might make the ride stiffer, i told them i was fine with that and they even put the Bilstein 5100's on that i got for Xmas too!

Yes, but i also had them adjust the front Bilstein's to 1.75", which they charged me some labor for. So maybe it was part of that, but he never stated that he charged me for the install of the rear shocks.

How's the ride with both the TSB and AAL? Any of you haul trailers or put 4-wheelers in the bed?

some crappy dealer installed lift , 285's, trail pin striping, and a grill full of lights.
I believe it is the bumper to bumper warranty of 36,000 miles...

Toyota in Waterford, MI "inspected" mine and said there was no problems. I called Toyota 800 number and in 48 hours the dealer approved it!

What exactly do you tell the dealer to get them to do the TSB?
I just picked 2011 TRD and only has 800 miles on it, but liek this to be done to avoid issues down the road.

    Thx

Don't give them options. I walked in with the TSB printout, so they knew I meant business...I was prepared to raise hell.

    It's like a free 1" lift:D

I am all for waving the TSB in there face to get it done. Is there any way to verify that the TSB hasn't been done before I call them? Is it worth the effort to get the TSB and then follow up with a Toytec lift for the front and rear?

    Thx

i have the Toytec 2" AAL; i wish i would have went with the Toytec TSB leaf though just because my rear is sitting higher than my front, idk if this would have fixed that though.

Had the TSB done recently and installed the 5100's on the rear. Have the 1.5' AAL in a box waiting to see how it looks once I install the front 5100's with the OME 884 Coil. If it looks good after that, looks like I will have a set of AAL to sell.

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
I voted both because I have the tsb and I plan on adding the toytec tsb aal.

FWIW: I just added a Wheeler's 3 leaf pack (listed as a 1.5") aal, which after a long trip up to Mammoth and some desert wheelin', I highly recommend.

I have the tsb, so all I did was remove the factory overload, and replace it with the leaf pack. That gave me another 1 to 1.25 inch lift. (Not the full 1.5" because I have a shell).
