I mean you were trying to lane split in a state that doesn't allow lane splitting so.

 

Love when people tighten up when they generally see you coming(not always and give them the benefit of the doubt for a few seconds). Splitting with those wide handlebars has to be a nightmare, the sportbike's narrow handles bars work like a cat's whiskers.

 

It was amazing to me when I realized just how much better a sportbike is for lane splitting than regular handlebars. My XSR was much more limited with the space it took up.

 

In CA, some keep mirrors as souvenirs. Makes it easier for the next motorcyclist to get by.

 

Although the 1100 is narrower than some other cruisers, I also find it can be challenging to split.

 

Went for a little evening ride when I saw all the neighbors leave too. Definitely worth it

such a nice person they are... i love people who think they are law and try and control traffic with either speed or not allowing to pass...

ive had it a couple times on my bike with someone trying to be in control

 

ya they are such a nice person making sure you stay in heavy traffic! should give em a medal
