Skid plate vs towing hooks

    I bought a skid plate for my 2011 Tacoma. Uses brackets off the front frame/ bumper attachment to mount. Problem is the left towing hook won't fit back on. Anyone experience this?

    No experience with this but can you trim the skid plate a little to get the hook on or modify the hook mount?
