Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Ive found two adjustable wrenches driving down the road in the last week. One a husky 12" and today a 10" crescent brand.

 

That's cool. My dad has a couple of them but they have the polychoke on the end.

 

Long story short, I saw a Husqvarna chainsaw laying on the side of the road last week. By the time I could think of a place to turn around I saw a guy I know stopping to get it. Next time I see him I'm gonna ask him about it

 

For some reason they seem to always have the polychoke barrels. This is the first regular barrel I’ve seen in a while.

 

I'm not too proud to pull over and dig if theres potential for something good. I saw a couple huskee/rubbermaid trash cans off the side of the highway last week, didnt think quick enough to pull off. Decided they weren't worth hitting the first exit and doubling back. They totally were though. Those things are dang near $60 each. They were gone the next day.

 

Try being the wedding photographer at a Gong Show like that...

 

They did that cutting cabbage???

Got curious and looked up the nutrition profile of cabbage:
Manganese, 7% of RDI per serving
Magnesium, 3% of RDI per serving

 

I've found a 3/8" log chain about 15' laying in the road one day, a plastic box with some plumbing fittings, a plastic tube with some welding rods (at the same intersection the plumbing fittings were in), and a receiver insert with a 2 5/16" ball another time. That's about all I've seen worth grabbing, other than the saw the other day. I figured if I didn't pick it up someone else will. Don't want anybody hitting that stuff and getting hurt

I had a truck with a service bed once and noticed one of my doors had come open. I pulled over to shut it and noticed a nice ratchet set had fallen out. I doubled back but someone had picked it up. Somebody got lucky that day.

Reminds me of the time I got a bowl of Pho from a Vietnamese place. I'm happily eating till I feel something in my mouth. A metal shaving! WTH!?

 

Oh yes, they had a couple of "photographers" too...
I can't quite put them into words and remain polite.

And then there was the (man bun) pastor who said "by the power invested in me..."
He seemed normal until he talked.

I never have, and never will go to a wedding. Let alone have one of my own...

 

I've been told because they got shot so much the barrel wore out, but I don't know for sure.

 

It'd be rad to find a duckbill choke for the front if its gonna be for social purposes

 

Nobody was getting paid here, these people were all part of the brides extended, convoluted, dysfunctional & deafening parade of family and friends.
People commented "I can hear her" long before she finally lumbered onto the scene.
