Did you do the nail polish logo removal mod?

I hate the logo and couldn’t figure out the nail polish method yet so I have been running without the center caps.

    edit: nail polish remover/acetone

Yes I did. If you look very close you can still see a ghost image of the logo.

Don't do the undercoating. Woolwax is the way. 1st post has details for one guy but just read about a member in CT as well.

Matt is more than welcome. Left him off the list because he indicated he was going to pass.

Depends what Mr. Rocket means when he says undercoat. I call woolwax an undercoat. But I know some people call a spray on paint/layer as an undercoat. That shit's bad. Woolwax good. Crispy crap bad.

(it traps moisture between the frame and itself, not good!)

I'm going to have to get under mine with a toilet brush on a string and run it through the boxed sections a bunch. It's BAD under there. The C sections need it too, but that's easy enough to just hit it with a brush.

He's my 1st post guy reference... I always assume rattle can undercoat is the rubberized crap from there people usually specify fluid film, woolwax etc.

@Rocket23 what undercoat are you referring to?

To be honest I have used it with some success. Enough to the point where my truck was thought to have a frame off restoration. Lol.

I was not planning on spraying that day and really havent been actively advertising on spraying others trucks.

I let Harold know Ill take care of his, and will be spraying Denis’s truck as well. More than happy to do yours too. But likely a different day than the mod day.

Dude it's just making your truck into a drag queen.

Looks like a great frame but the rust is still there.

That’s been Toyotas problem up until 2012.
Now you still get rust even if you do nothing but it won’t fold in half in 10 years either. So knowing that I’d settle for a clean look. Let’s be honest here. Inside the box which is now treated. Albeit not well. I’d rather use a rattle can and feel better than nothing at all and still have a truck in ten years.
