    Boss has been trying to polish a turd since last week.
    I knew about 10 minutes in that we were just going to have to tear out a bunch of stuff and start over.
    So i was working on something else today and just decided to update the area that was screwed up since I was working on the project and it was just faster to do it now than to go back later and redo it separately.
    Emailed it to the boss at 10am. Just said this was the next best option whenever he wanted to give up trying to polish the turd.
    He just called me and asked what I thought the next option should be and could I send him an update.
    You mean like the one I sent you 3 hours ago? Without having to ask me to do it? o_O
    Oh, right. Yeah. Thanks.
