You seem like one cool dude to me. What's your next trip gonna be? Seems like every week you have neat pictures from somewhere other than Arkansas haha

 

The next out-of-state trip will be to "Cruisers On The Rocks" in Oliver Springs TN. That will be a good hike from here to the Smokey Mountains for a weekend of camping. The area is near Oak Ridge TN. If I go early, then I might to visit the Oak Ridge National Labs museum. Other than the TN trip, I'll be hosting a bunch of trips on weekends through the Ozarks until mid November. Lots of friends from out of state will be coming up to hit the Ozarks when the creeks are up and the scenery is good. Check out the COTR video.

Well, the funeral service was done really well.

Really glad because my wife's Grandma was a very loved and respected woman.

Though a few people ignored me, while a few others (whom I never met) were anxious and eager to meet and sit down with me. Guess word got around to everyone.

 

Oak Ridge is on the bucket list. So much history there. Did Hanford B reactor a few years ago, ready to continue down the nuclear tourism path.


Also that area is generally gorgeous, so many great backroads

This really is unfair for individuals like me who instead of taking on debt, pulled long days and busted their ass day in and day out while daddy paid for school.

 

I don't deny that it's unfair. I'd feel the same way. But it's also an extremely poor argument against it. Just because you suffered means everyone else needs to? That said I'd like to see more come from it as well in the right direction. More aggressive college tuition caps and more severe regulation of predatory loans. I don't have to go back to school but just because I don't have to go back doesn't mean I don't want to see the situation get better for those that have to go now and in the future.

First of all, money is being slung around like candy to millions of people who run the system and get paid to do fuck all!

I pay like 400 a week in taxes and get shit for it like mostly everyone else. I then have to pay $650 a month for me and a 9 yr olds insurance which is a fucking joke.

If I could run a tax free business setup I would in a heartbeat and laugh all the way to the bank. So, I don't see any problem in this day and age with hustlin student debt down. At least you were trying to better yourself while acquiring these debts. There are way bigger problems going on fundamentally, way bigger!

Also, with all due respect @m3bassman , the word unfair is not very appropriate. You should be proud that you took nothing because when there is nothing more to give you will be the one laughing.
