It did vary, snapped the torx end off of one of the studs and said screw it, i figured they wouldnt seize due to it being in an aluminum head, that wasnt true lol

That torx end is tiny I prefer to use a stud remover that clamps down on the threads.

Has to be an alignment issue, or loose bearing. You take a straight edge to the edge of the pulleys for the belt?

Best way to check the alignment is with the Gates laser tool. Even a slight deviation can cause the belt to walk.

Couple other items I have noted:

-The Bando belts suck. Get a Gates belt, preferably the RPM version(K060705RPM) but the Green belt is easier to find.(K060696HD, or K060714HD) These belts are more resistant to walking/stretching, and will just flat out last longer.

-The included mild steel threaded rod that holds the lower pulley is extremely flexy and weak. Slow-mo a start up with your phone sometime, it'll blow your mind how much it flaps around. I replaced mine with a Grade 12.9 rod which is far more rigid and vastly stronger. I'd be surprised if you kicked the belt and didn't have this bend. I bent 2 of them early on..

-The bearings in the pullies can get quite sloppy as they wear thus especially the lower most one. The metal shielded bearings are 6003ZZC3, replace as needed with high quality alternatives. (SKF, FAG, NSK)

Great info! You wouldn't happen to know what thread size rod is do you? Thanks again!

After putting on the new exhaust/headers my trac light came on along with my MIL, what is the best way to get rid of this code so my trac will work again? Its just the catalyst inefficiency code. Will the spark plug anti-fouler trick work for this?

Disable the mil for secondary O2 with HPTuner, or install 02 simulators.

I was thinking about that, would it also clear the trac light code if i disabled the mil?

No more wheel hop FTW! Glad you're pleased. And still has a good bit of articulation. Can't say how much because my truck is lowered.

Comparing the design of the Caltrac to the other two products (urd, budbuilt) that serve the same purpose...... i think its a no brainer to go with Caltracs. I would give up that ground clearance versus having to repair the rear pumpkin.

The URD should have a smoother feeling since they utilize a couple bushings vs. the heims on the caltracs. I have a heim only 3-link in the FJ and you definitely can feel it.

Couldn't be the pre tsb leafs and the 35's? I can report no wrap on my truck.
