I just need to clean them up and post them for sale, but I will have King 2.5 w/ Adjusters EXT, MT double Bypass, TC Gussetted Spindles, TC UCA and TC LCA. Also, have rear King 2.5 with adjusters, not EXT but can easily be converted. Prob some other stuff.

Sig in the thread or here if you want to see what I'll have.

    All of them.
Here is where I'm at in the rear of my truck. 11.5" of strait travel on 14" shocks. Swapped the stock shackles with some with poly bushing and gained almost a inch.

Question is are the loaded bushing in my icon leaf springs holding me back some? The shackles won't lay flat. I gained a ton with just the shackles being poly, so I assume the spring being poly would help. (Second photo is where the Shackel sits at full droop. 20220825_181407.jpg 20220822_170958.jpg

The poly bushings will articulate easier but with that said, my icons have never had an issue flexing while off-road. I bet you that the shackle would lay flat just fine in real world conditions.

I agree if I was flexing the truck that the spring would pull down a but more. I have (what I think will fit) poly bushings for the icon springs. I'd just have to burn out the stock loaded. Just seeing if it's worth the work

I had the same dilemma when switching to the rxt because I thought the rubber bushings would hinder articulation too much. I’m really glad I kept the rubber because they’re maintenance free, I don’t need to deal with burning them out, and they articulate fine.

10-4. I'll probably just leave them be then. Unless someone chimes in and gets me overthinking again

probably a good thing it doesn't go flat. No binding when the axle goes back up

Limit straps are never a bad idea. Cheap insurance to keep much more expensive parts happy

I think my favorite thing about straps is I rarely know when a front tire is off the ground, instead of the shock trying to jerk itself out (off?)

With my old MT setup (no limit straps but was going to put them on) it always was jerking itself off when it would lose off ground. New setup (went to a +2 kit) is smooth and no longer have the same sense of the shock doing that.

Did not put them on the rear (but intention was to add them) but the guy welding forgot to do it. But with the 12" shocks and my heavy pack, I may be lucky to get 10-11" anyway. I went heavy on the leaf pack, but Its likely limited my travel and now has me thinking of trading in weight capacity for performance. Need to figure it out (already spent funds on the pack) but now I need to tune the rear shocks. Rear is not up to part with the front.

Also has me considering 14" shocks again. I went back and forth when I got 12" shocks on doing 12" or 14"

Quick question, if anyone is in here today..

i dont want the resi hose to be touching the fender well right? Should I try to mount it higher or tilt it a little bit?

Yeah I would try to get it off, body moves probably around 3/4" and those hoses are pretty firm/wont easily compress.

This is where mine was. Rubbed a bit at the bottom of resi on tire but I loosened and moved it up. At the top where the hoop is you can bend back or cut off some to give you a bit more room.

when I put on the LT and bypasses we didn’t move any of the setup and worked well with the +2 kit.

I put them so i have 1/2-3/4" of space between the well and the hose, like @Buttskevin21 suggested.

Ran out of paint and primer, so ill need to finish the other side tomorrow. (Could do white, but i have already so much white )
