Ceramic Coating Maintenance? Ceramic Pro Interior Protection?

If you've had ceramic coating done, what cleaning/maintenance are you doing on your truck? I've read through soooo many threads about this subject Lol and I know ceramic coatings aren't miracle-cures that mean you never have to do anything to your truck. But I've gotten some different answers from shops about what I need to do at home to keep up the ceramic coat. So I thought I'd ask you guys.

Honestly part of why I'm considering the ceramic coating was in hopes of doing less cleaning/maintenance. I don't have a good place to wash/detail my truck regularly, and I don't have much time to devote to it, so was hoping the coating could help keep it in good shape. Guess I could hire a detailer to do whatever upkeep needs to be done... In that case then, though, would I be better off just getting it a good detail regularly instead of ceramic coating?

I've generally been a "drive it through the automatic carwash" guy with my cars - there's a nice one right around the corner from me. But I feel like this truck's paint will not handle that well?

My truck is brand new, Barcelona Red, and lives outside 24/7 in the bright Arizona desert sun or parked under trees. I don't off-road much but it's often out on the farm or driving on dirt roads and unmaintained roads.

Trying to accept that dings, scratches, etc will happen to my brand new truck Lol - it's a truck and I plan to enjoy it! So I don't I want PPF/clear bra. But I am considering ceramic coating for to help keep it looking better and for some paint protection against the elements.

I'm looking at shops that use CeramicPro, IGL, or CQuartz.

Also, a few of the shops also offer Ceramic Pro interior coatings. They cover everything - dash, seats (mine are fabric), carpets, etc and it's a 2 year warranty. Anyone have experience with that? I've been trying to figure out what products are best to protect cloth against stains/moisture and what anti-static cleaners/protectants I can use to keep all the dust and dog hair from clinging to every interior surface. But if I'm getting the exterior ceramic done, the interior isn't much extra to do at the same time.

I know extremely little about ceramic coatings. But I know this works awesome if you rinse the heavy dirt / mud of first (and use clean micro-fiber clothes):

Ceramic coating will protect your truck. The 3 brands you stated are reputable products.

Best way to maintain ceramic coating is to regularly wash your truck. There are some quick spray toppers to use and occasional decon. Best advice is to ask whomever installs it what they recommend.

I guarantee you they will recommend NOT to use drive through car washes.

 

I went with the simoniz glass coating, and interior protection plan warrantied for lifetime done over two years ago. Never actually washed the truck yet....i have hose the salt spray off it in the winter a couple times when it got really bad. Dealer told me never to wash, and wax the truck. Truck still looks as new after a good rainstorm. This coating has also protected against paint chips which my old tundra had plenty by this time. Imo, like any ceramic coating, it depends on who is doing it as there's plenty of prep work the first day. All said, i'm sold on it, my only complaint is why it wasn't around back when i bought my gen1 tundra.
