Yea I assume it a "cover your ass" thing in case someone does get though to the Cats. In the end all these covers are just deterrents because if thieves want in they'll get in.

Someone just hit me. Bashed in front left, nothing serious but needs to be fixed for sure. Anybody have any body shop recommendations that do top quality work?

I have my wife's car is at Service King on Azure. (Centennial) If the repair is anything like the process, then I am scared. Place sucks. Hopefully the repair is done right.

I have mine tinted as well and it's not too bad at night, my problem is my night vision is starting to get worse so the windshield tint makes it harder to see at night.

that was going to be my recommendation too. Yeah, they are a dealer so there is a higher price, but I like Findlay and a couple of their service advisors have either 4Runners or Tacomas so they treat you well.

I'm kind of frugal (ok, cheap) - so I don't have a proper awning like the cool kids :) I do use a Slumberjack tarp off the back of the truck. I like it except it doesn't do as much for the sun when at high elevation and it's really freaking hot. That's only been about 10% of the time I've used it. It holds up to pretty high winds, works with my topper EZ lift, and is quite spacious. It's been a life saver at work this summer (pic below). I also have the "fruit stand" - a DIY awning. One long metal piece (some random metal my husband found somewhere) on each side, parallel to the length of the truck, is bolted to my Yakima rack (should have waited and gone with Prinsu). Each side has 3 small eye bolts that a standard tarp clips to with old carabiners. Tent poles from Cabela's, some old stakes and cord complete it. It's also possible to add sides for warmth and wind shielding - just using old tarps. Absolutely came in clutch when I demanded we do Thanksgiving dinner in a massive cold snap up in the South Ruby Mtns. LOL It does not look as cool as the fancy ones but very much works great from 15 deg F and windy to to 90's at 8500 ft amsl. All in for both awnings was less than $200. I don't have detailed pics of both, but here are some examples.

I really like the color scheme and how it stands out. All that is left is for me to get my license switched over, plus pay with the military and I’ll officially be a NV resident.
