I’ve been looking long and hard for a suspension overhaul and consuming as much info as possible. My plans have been somewhat on hold as supply chain issues ease. Is it still tough to get the higher end stuff? (Fox/King/OME…anything I’m missing I should be looking at?)

I need rear leafs as well and want a full coil-over set. I have a rack and DA rtt totaling around 200lbs in the back currently but want to add a tire swing out eventually (most likely without a bumper). I don’t want a crazy lift. Just 2” or so I can fit 33s comfortably. I prefer a smooth ride but also like to drive a bit faster than 5mph on washboard trails here in CA.

I’m in between just throwing an OME set on there or go all out with a Fox 2.5 set from Accutune.

Rear leafs I’m leaning hard towards the Icon RXT for its bang for the buck and adjustability.

Any advice based on this would be greatly appreciated from those more experienced than me.

Thanks, do you think doing just the leafs with the TRDOR stock suspension will be worth doing before adding full suspension? Or should I just bite the bullet and do the whole thing?

    All of them.
Absolutely go with accutune and Fox. They will set u up and valve the shocks so you'll be happy. No out of the box tune. They have fox in stock too

I can't disagree with what is being said...that being said I have a LOT of experience with suspensions in Jeeps, and unfortunately did not have a great experience with accutune fox 2.5 DSC shocks. It appears I am a rarity though.... the shocks themselves turned out good in the end but there was some QC issues that they ended up passing onto ME the end user. But hey it's all good no jeep is the same and in the end I was satisfied, I could easily go 30mph on big dip roads, hit G-outs, and crush 10-12inch rocks going that fast (but I was running 37" STT pros with beadlocks at 8psi), most non modified trucks/jeeps would go 5-8mph on this road fyi... and fly 50-60mph on fire roads and not be worried.

I do go by the buy once cry once principle when it comes to suspension....... IF YOU WILL actually use them and not mall crawl :D but hey Your Money Your Move

I’ve read and heard of some issues with accutune mainly around service. And I did read a thread a while back from a member complaining that the lift wasn’t exactly 2” but I personally don’t have lift expectations and I think that just ended up being him needing heavier springs. The ride quality is much more important for me and a bit more clearance would help. I’m in SoCal so Accutune is actually local to me. They can’t ignore me if I show up at their door I guess

Yep, even still it’s hard to swallow a $6k bill all in. That’s what prompted me to make this thread to hear about some experiences.
