I lived in Northern Manchester in 2020 into early 2021. It was nice and quiet over there at Waterford Place. I like Hooksett from the been I've experienced and have a buddy that moved there at the end of 2020. My other buddy lives in Weare and works at GE, I think he said it's about a half hour commute to work if you wanted a more rural area

The Max Modular Taco Max rack will allow a rolling BAK Revolver cover to full roll up with the rack installed.

    https://www.max-modular.com/toyota-tacoma-years-2005-to-present

Then you can put TMS kayak cradles on the rack, and you can mount Roam boxes to it.

I wonder if the item that is 24" tall would be the best, so the kayak doesn't hit the roof line

    Vermont sucks. Tell your friends.

DEI universal heatshield banged onto the passenger front cat to shield the new trans lines. The standoffs and included XXXL worm clamps are stainless, but the heat shield is mild steel. I did it up with VHT header paint and used stainless zippies instead of the worm clamps, because they hardly ever have stainless screws in them:

Took the first long drive since the cooling upgrades. The trans cooler (a Hayden unit) appears to work as advertised re: thermal bypass. Trans temps came up faster than with factory cooler and stayed cooler and more stable especially under load on steeper grades. CSF radiator was rock solid as expected. Ambients about 70F, temps shown below are after ~2hrs on hilly VT highways, mostly with cruise on.

Fair point. @Nimble9 it's terrible. You'd be better off going down to NJ, NY for wheeling. Pine barrens, ADK, BHM, etc. in NY. :spy:

At folk fest I saw a guy wearing a shirt that says "Austin sucks, move to Ohio!"

You could get away with our 14" and the kayaks still wouldn't hit the cab.

The tonneau brackets add 2.5" to the height, and the kayak cradles also give it a little boost.

Nope. Not with a ten foot pole. That thing has to have been sitting around doing F all for long stretches. Gaskets that get lubed from use gonna be dry. Corrosion protection from use drained off and then had some corrosion. Perfect example - the rear diff is usually getting sprayed by its own oil and sloshing around. Over time the top bit has been exposed for however long. Now it doesn't have oil coating it and corrodes, even if it is minor.

That's happening all over the truck. No thanks.

Meh, it'll be fine, will likely need some maintenance but it'll ok. If it was a 50's car with that mileage, people would be all over it. I. An't see the postthough, only the description so i couod be missing xomething obvious.

Edit: In July a 2002 with 52k miles went for $30,750

Slap my ass and call me Sally. The Carfax shows service records - happening every 1-2k miles spread throughout purchase to now. It didn't sign for 6 years like I guessed.

V6 4x4 OR? I'd bid on that. Damn. Probably gonna be in the 30k neighborhood.

Austin didn't used to suck, it was a fun city. Now it's a big, expensive city, with overpriced housing and a growing crime rate.

Oh I know. We've talked about it before here too.

Gotta add the homeless population too. Northern states will ship their homeless south where it's warm. Then they in turn ship them to Hawaii one way where they can't get off the island. As bad as it is in CA and TX, it's easily 10x worse in Hawaii.

Only 14K miles and a frame that’s ready to break in half. It would be a great truck if it was from the desert not PA. Why did it need new front brakes already? My truck is only one year newer but has 145K more miles than that one and my frame has way less rust. WTF!

That should still qualify for the frame recall. I think.
