That might be a tad small for what I'm thinking. I'm thinking either a 12' long cargo trailer, or maybe find a junk travel trailer with a good frame and build on that. But, this is way in the early daydreaming stage right now.

That just means it will take longer to redesign and rebuild! :goingcrazy:

True story... I was on my way to Hartland and at a stoplight right outside of Toyota of Brookfield on Capitol Dr when I looked down and saw that and snapped the pic. Couldn't help but wonder if my truck took me there with 1 mile of warranty left, just to be a jerk. Guess I'm on my own now.

I saw this trailer in Texas last April.
BBQ Grill, seating and it's covered. Just needs a bar and someplace for a wall map.

    Confirmed.

My 2010 Prerunner could as well.

… er, I mean that’s what I read on the internet someplace.

    True!

I agree about size, mine is 5x8 and is perfect for being a basic and very comfortable replacement for a tent, but to add real storage and a kitchen would require 10’, 12’ if you want a bathroom/shower.

I'm thinking 12' because I want to be able to slide my Kayaks in it while I'm traveling. But, who knows how many times I'll change my mind before I even begin this project.

I have a utility trailer, maybe 8'. I've thought about turning into some kind of low budget camper.but I still use it as a trailer probably once a month. And so does the buddy who's house it lives at lol

I’ve been considering a similar thing but with a much larger trailer. I use it for trailer things quite a bit but it would be nice to be able to haul the bikes somewhere and then use the trailer as base camp.

i saw a pretty sweet one a while back. Something similar to this is what I would do and use cots for sleeping.

Yeah an enclosed trailer would be kickass

I'm just very limited on storage space. Although I'm sure @Sasquatch3153 has room at his compound.....

It was like a truck spa day for Blue. Engine oil change as well as my first time doing the front and rear diff oil changes. No milkshakes from either, so that was good. Just want to spray it down underneath one more time before I put the skid plates back on and get it off of the ramps. Minor accomplishments, but I felt like I had a productive day.

    PXL_20220827_182515629.jpg

I forgot I had another set of ramps in the back of the garage. Worked great! Perfect height to use a 5 gal bucket for draining fluids and the truck was level while doing it.

(Don't tell the wife though. Still want that lift.)

    Nice!

    Wait

Transmission drain and fill? Transfer case? Headliner lube? Blinker fluid? Mirror grease? Drive shaft grease?

You forgot a bunch of things!
