@HAVOC I am anxious to hear your results. Our 12 Prerunner has similar 157k miles and is clunk-free. If a clunk develops it would be nice to know where to look if ball joints, tie rods, control arm bushings and sway bars check out ok. Diagnosing seems nearly as bad, and irritating, as chasing an intermittent electrical short.

The shop this morning said they couldn’t find anything loose or with play in it, recommended driving it until it got worse or louder.

changed my diff fluid on all 3 diffs. went 30k since the last fluid swap. thought the fluid would be dirty, but it was pretty clean. Thinking of going 50k for the next one.

Was also thinking that it would improve my MPG by a little, but nope. Its still the same, if not worse for some reason.

Used valvoline full snthetic in the bags. Made changing the fluid pretty easy.

Got back from a trip and cleaned the truck, changed oil, in the middle of a tire rotation. Getting 13th annual Krown treatment on Monday, so wanted it clean before I take it in. Also cleaned the rust of my about 1 yr old Bilstein (not too happy about the amount of rust on the shocks)

After reminding myself I don't own a boat a few weeks ago...

    PXL_20220730_164855053.jpg

I removed my pads got everything dried out that evening but have been driving around without the MLV sound foam pads and it has been loud...

    PXL_20220730_231116419.jpg

Finally had time this weekend to actually pull trim and clean up the silt under the vinyl flooring and clean the pads from the event.

Got sprinkled on a little near the end but I'm glad I thought about this potentiality and made my Dyna Pads removable for such cleaning, the Dynamat Extreme base layer cleaned up real easy which is great because apparently I need a reminder that trucks don't swim every few years.

And incase anyone is curious about what's going on with my back wall:

    PXL_20220825_231451515.jpg

Yes I'm a bit of a "gear queer" or pack rat but I'm also the person who always seems to have that thing that's necessary when it's critically needed; guess you could say I took the better to have it and not need it mentality to heart.
