What is “OVERLANDING”?

It's car camping in a very special way.

 

I'm saying it but people may not like it, overlanding is going on a multiday trip, when you don't stay in a hotel and drive on dirt at some point.

 

He had Maine license plates so he must have been headed home. Traffic was terrible.

 

That guy, he got straight A’s in school. All seven years.

 

A to B using backcountry roads and only staying in a spot for 1 night.

 

I don't miss that "over-land" route at all.

If you add a rooftop tent to a Crosstrek or CX5 are you an overlander? I’ve been seeing quite a few small SUVs with tents lately. The tent looks massive on top of the small vehicle.
