Also commonly refered to as a coil spacer

That will give you 3.25" of lift. You will definitely need new UCA's to get your alignment right with that much lift. Also, top plate spacers do not damage shocks, but if they are large enough, they can damage ball joints by allowing the assembly to droop too far.

The 1/4" thick spacer that Ben mentioned will actually give you 1/2" of lift. so you'll be at 3". Spacers lift twice their thickness.

It should be. The lift ratio is 2:1. (might have that backwards) so it needs to be .250" if you want the full 3" lift with Billies maxed out. If you can make them yourself, go for it.

You need 4.5" backspaced rims or wheel spacers, and to trim some fender well plastic. and possibly chop the cab mount.

I have Eibach springs and 5100's set at .85 and .25 top spacer on drivers side = 2.5+ inch lift and am running 285/75/16 Duratracs. I had to bust out the grinder and cut a lot of plastic and a little wheel well. It supprised me how much I had to cut, and I need a little fine tuning. All that aside, I am so happy I went with 285/75/16's.

I ended up buying 4.5" backspaced wheels, but was going to order Spydertrax from 4Wheel Parts with a 10% coupon for $180. Either way mission accomplished.

I just put a set of 285's on my taco yesterday. I'm running 5100's at 2.5. I trimmed a little plastic: trimmed a small corner of the rear of the fender flare, cut the little bubble out of the fender liner, and trimmed small piece of the corner off of the front of the fender flare. I haven't taken it offroad with the 285's yet. That will be the true test to see if I need to chop the cab mount.

    PLEASE STOP YELLING

If you don't want to trim anything at all, then run 265's. Simple as that.
