He either buys the light with the gasket on it or he installs the gasket himself. Either way, he sells you the light with it on. If you aren’t making a warranted claim, he owes you nothing. If the gasket he sends you doesn’t adhere because of something that’s out of his control, you will be holding him responsible for it. If you want, PM me your address and I’ll cut you some foam gaskets. If it doesn’t adhere properly, tough shit. See I can say that, he can’t…get it?

still not unreasonable to expect a reply with an inquiry regarding their product. Sure, they don’t owe him anything, but not responding or having poor customer service isn’t good practice.

Somehow OP pissesed MESO off even without any communication. That's how he's not getting a response. He just wants a response. He has already decided that he won't be doing future business with them. If they respond somehow and replaced his item, he won't be spending a dime at MESO. Until then, he's being nice. At least that's most likely what I would do.

This thread has devolved into some bullshit. It’s just grown men and women arguing unable to have a conversation while making stupid assumptions about one another.

I’m done responding since nothing productive is coming out of this thread anymore, and technically I got a sufficient answer to my question.

In a previous comment I’ve already decided I’m picking up the $8 roll in a few days if I don’t get a response but it’s very obvious a lot of people choose not to read some of the older comments.

Well done, OP. It's easy for conversations to devolve around here and get sucked in. You're a good example of accepting some reasonable advice, not getting exactly what you want, and being civil through it. You're the kind of customer I like dealing with.

Sadly I can empathize with OP. I also never got notifications from the "email me when available" thing (and no, not in gmail spam folder, etc.) I have also emailed and asked questions that have never received a response. One was for installation help when something went wrong. I have been able to get some of the things I wanted over the years, a couple I ordered the wrong item which just sit in a box in the garage because they never responded to an RMA request or follow-up emails. They take your money fast enough on an order but that's the end of it. It feels like Meso has a group of customers on TW where "he can do no wrong" who defend him no matter what. You can't grow a small company bigger by doing it like this, but I suppose he doesn't want to.

I’m not reading this whole thread, but OP @avn is not making MESO lose sales……

MESO is making MESO lose sales due to his “drop” sales model. It’s mentioned many times before, even at least once in this thread. I’m a fan of his products
but won’t buy any due to this model.
So if you/someone bought a product second hand and it failed, would you not at least try to reach out to the manufacturer? It happens on TW all…day….long.

Provide one example where this "happens on TW all day long."

No I wouldn't reach out to the manufacturer for a 2nd hand product. Because I don't buy old broken products, then expect them to fix it. If I did, I wouldn't get butt hurt and cry about them online for ignoring me.

This is a specialty product. Not a fox coilover that is fully rebuildable. This OP is the equivalent of buying a busted air fryer, then blasting off emails to the Chinese company that made it, looking for parts. A normal person would just buy a new air fryer or buy a used working one.

Tons of companies require you to have a receipt in order to get warranty or even the time of day from them.

We get it, you’re a fan of MESO.

OP was looking for guidance from the seller, and he said he would pay for it. Funny you mention Chinese company…
I’m sure you’re not thinking these weren’t made in China. In any case, I don’t have a dog in the fight and can not care. Just amazes me when a MESO complaint comes up, folks come out to defend. OP, good luck, if you need a pair of these turn signals. I’ll send you a pair of aftermarket (non MESO) ones I’m not using for free.

Who wants to trade problems? You will be on the winning end because Meso ain’t one of my problems.

edit: for the record, I only have Meso puddle pods. I highly recommend them.
