Like showing it off when her brothers come over, cleaning on coffee table, taking pictures of it for TW in the garage... you know.

Standards have no crack on a Mark 4. Wish my 10/22 was threaded so i could see what it sounds like.

It looks like you have your NAA on the safety notch. In that position it takes very little backward motion on the hammer, perhaps 30 thou, for the cylinder to be free to rotate. You should test that in a safe direction. This is why I found a holster with a thumb break. Plenty of users choose to carry them on an empty chamber.

I carry in the safety notch in between the chambers, which is the proper way to carry it according to NAA.

I should also add that when I installed the magwell, I glued about 1.5 oz of tungsten weights inside the backstrap. Really interested to see how all the added weight tames the recoil.

The Wilson grip is a big improvement, fills out the hand better.

And for ccw the smoother sides are nice.

Is this a thing? Is it more for absorbing some vibrations otherwise transferred into the hand as felt recoil? Would love to see some videos of yours in action. I feel like the fast shooters all just concentrate on high purchase by hand position tame recoil and rise. I shoot with a s+w Shield and it's snappy for it's size and 3.1 barrel. Then I watch a Shield in action like this one and question my modding tactics lol.

Got one of those Umarex/HK MP5 in 22LR. 350 rounds of the cheap Remington stuff and only one failure to feed. 50’ unsupported on this target. It’s a pretty fun plinker!

It can be a thing, though not super common amongst handguns as say precision rifles.

There are two ways to measure recoil: felt recoil and free recoil. I’m sure you can guess which is which but one is relative to a gun supported and one is unsupported. Technique is almost always the majority of the equation for managing recoil in general.

However competitors, in like say IPSC open will use low power rounds and specific tuned recoil springs. Things like that. That compounded with unwavering technique is a excellent recipe for success.

That said, if you look at the math, it’s apparent if you can make the weapon heavier, it creates more work for the discharge to move. I’m over simplifying and trying to avoid typing out equations, but that’s the jest.
