Hey, I have had the subject code kick 5 time now. It has come and gone for the last 200 miles. I have done some searching and read that this is usually caused by rodents... I am not thinking this is the case for me as result of the light not staying on constantly. Also, my ECU is not putting the engine into "safe mode". My truck is an 06 with 160K miles. Anyone else ever have this issue or are able to offer some info?

Did you fill up someplace different lately? Is it knocking? Could be sensor but also could just be bad gas.

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
Maybe they got a bad batch. Throw a can of Chevron techron fuel system cleaner in and top it off somewhere else.

Thanks for the links Drivesector, very educational. Larz, I will definitely be trying this before I throw any money or time at it.

The price of everything has been going up - this is best price I could find and bought. It's worked for me. I use it just B 4 every oil change and when the code light comes on.

Just grab one with P.E.A. (POLYETHER-AMINE) as the main ingredient.

It is about as good as you can get for the price you pay.

Yours might be a bad or loose connection since it happens when you jar it hitting rough spots and pot holes - I don' t know about miles I'll have to pay more attention and keep a record.
