I bet you could if you are still under 3 years 36,000 miles. Hope you don't have 36,000 miles with that 2022.

and there's the point. we'd need to know what they consider "normal wear and tear items". i also would not assume UW is not looking at your claims on MBI.

it would be a cancel and reissue. they don't turn a 7yr100k into a 10yr125k

I would call and ask Jennifer about Extended Warranty pricing; I hear she has the best pricing on the Factory Warranties. Can't hurt

That's a great question. I don't know, but if it saves members money, that's a good thing. Just another number to call when researching pricing.

    hopefully a lot.

non greedy dealers always win out in the end. literally every time a new vehicle/platform comes out 99.9% of dealers throw on insane markups and let things sit on their lots, and like 2 dealers that actually are on forums like these sell them at or below MSRP and get rid of them as fast as they come in.

Turbosix, Since I have Geico I called and got a quote on the insurance. My 2022 would be $15.40 every 6 months with the $250 deductible. I also got the information you talked about for anybody else that might be interested in this plan. I am getting a quote from Jennifer and Geico.

I recently was quoted $1795 for the 10yr / 125k / 0 Ded Toyota Extended Warranty. Still considering the Geico Warranty, but no hurry still have time on either one.

That's not a bad price for 125k miles. I have the Geico warranty. I went over it quickly and it probably is not as in depth as the toyota one. Hope I never need to use it.

again, i dunno the geico warranty but here's an example...

your truck is going to end up having a timing cover leak within that 10/125 outside of the factory pt. prob will need a water pump and shocks, bushings, axles.. the warranty will have paid for itself 3 times over. god forbid you have an engine/trans issue, as long as you weren't being a fuck face they're prob gonna tell you the engine teardown disclaimer and then once they confirm you didnt do anything stupid throw a new shortblock in it.

I think the Geico warranty is very good, but it is up to 100k. The 7 yr 100k Toyota warranty is only $925. Even @$925 you could use the Geico warranty 3 times at the $250 Ded and include the $30 / yr and spend $960. If you never had to use the Geico warranty you would only be out $210. Ouch, My Brain Hurts Now.

Yes I did the Geico thing on my 2018 and now I have it on my 2022. It costs less than one fast food meal every six months. I have never had to use it.

I will point out that a guy at my work had his transmission go out on I think a 2019 Offroad at 76,000 miles. He broke down while traveling out of state. I don't think he has an extended warranty.

Yeah, especially if you can go to any dealer of your choice and get toyota genuine parts. I've got geico also, but they said it wasn't available.

One thing to keep in mind as well... Not all dealers have to accept your third party warranty. They have to accept the VSA

...and again, they have no problem doing so except they usually bitch about frm time on Tacoma steering racks cause alldata / pd time shows way more.
