My truck sold in 2 days. My buddy said a 70 year old man came in with an '08 with 241k on it. He said the guy looked at the engine, the interior and the frame and said "somebody loved this truck". Drove it around the block, came back and wrote a check for it.

 

Of course…

 

Maxed out my wrenchin' skills today.... I'm exhausted.

5K mile basic service. 165K miles.

Engine oil & filter change - OEM Filter and PP HM 5W-30
Engine & Cabin Air Filters - OEM
Lubed Drive Shafts (5 zerks) - Mobil 1 grease
Checked all other fluids - GTG
Hit that steering knuckle with some penetrating oil - thanks again @Plain Jane Taco

Don't have the tools for tire rotation, having that done Tuesday

Horn upgrade on the Hatch is complete.





Into the pile of "beep-beeps" it goes.

 

End of an era. For years this oil filter drain catch apparatus has served me faithfully. It shall now be moving on to the great garbage can in the sky.

 

We hooked about 10 of those to one of the bosses cars. Took about 6 months before he blew the horn. It was interesting after

 

We took a wire and hot wired the horn to the left turn signal in the parts truck.

Also lifted the ass end of a truck with blocks so tires were just touching the ground. Put the truck in gear. Yeup no movement and a smoke show
