Ok so I attached a picture. I’m having trouble finding this part Home Depot has similar but not exact. If someone can help point me in the right direction. I’m trying to do this so I can screw in that center cap when off-roading and or going through water.

    Thanks TacomaWorld

Before you plug it, dibble a little water in there. The head gasket of the 2GR has been known to dry out if not properly hydrated.

How much water? I put a N95 mask over the hole so it should allow enough water to get inside the engine

You can use chocolate milk for more MPGs. Also throw some stones in there to lap your valves.

No issues I’m always monitoring coolant temp also. I will be plugging that part of the intake when following multiple people and eating dust and or in wet conditions stream crossings etc. look into the injen air intake(it sucks air from behind the radiator as well as the normal oem location) . Super useful mod if you get rid of your fender liners

    Coolant thermostat opens 187-194°F

Normal coolant temperature 167 to 212°F

    Max coolant temp is 284°F

Ahh, I don't think you specified anywhere in the thread you had an aftermarket intake.

My solution was a snorkel with a precleaner.

Yessir. went with the intake for now. I’ll upgrade to a snorkel in the future.
