You’re wood burning these, correct? Have you thought about a laser engraver?

Wife does wood burning. I just try to get the supplies.

I think she likes to take the time to do them herself...side hobby

Been thinking about building a storage rack under my stairs to my basement... until I looked at 36 inch slides .. those things are pricey and unavailable in my area...

Any thoughts on slide outs without using the metal slides?

How wide? You could just make them with a wood track, the way they were made before the fancy full extension slides

    Thank you both!

I'm thinking each pull out will be 24 inches wide.

If any of you woodworkers want to get into something a tad more dangerous, Harbor Freight has some small grinding disc with chainsaw chains on them

At that width it shouldn’t be a problem at all and yes definitely use wax!

I’ll try and take a few pictures of tracks I’ve made

I went through the first few pages. People were doing some awesome stuff back in 2013. Looks like that has continued on to today. I'm not really sure where to start though. I helped make some furniture years ago, but haven't really touched anything till more recently. I always thought woodworking would be fun.

Where do people start who want to learn to do this professionally?
