Ended up doing the alignment myself since the shop wont listen to what I asked them for. Maxed out lcas for caster->uca to "F"->fix camber on uca->set toe. 2.3 caster, 0 camber, 1/16 total toe dyi driveway measurements. Gained clearance in the back and drives WAAY better than setting "D" with 3.4/3.9 caster turning the wheel was really heavy. Still have to mess with toe a bit as my wheel is slightly off center and may add some cross caster. Most annoying part was loosening tie rod nuts used a 22mm crows foot + breaker bar (one side wouldnt budge tried pb blaster, freezing it, blow torch...then realized I was turning the wrong direction). Used this for caster/camber https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PKI0WXM?ie=UTF8 (worked great), and string method for toe (bought toe plates but string and jack stands worked out better for me).

    Setting “E”
    Caster 2.78/2.86
    Camber .32/.30
    Toe .05/.06

    2006, OME 887/5100s, 285/70/17, 17x9 -12 wheels

Drives straight, handles well. No CMC, minor plastic trimming. Kinda wish my camber was a little closer to 0 but I’m happy with the outcome for now.

For others reference here is my alignment sheet. 2" inch lift . Lowers maxed for caster (driver a bit less to account for cross caster), UCA set at "F" and slid almost 100% towards the center of the truck. Before is my driveway alignment and after tire kingdom. I knew the camber was a bit off but thought my toe was good (based on toe plates + jack/fishing line method). The only change tire kingdom did was slightly move driver front cam for camber and fix toe.

edit: my at home alignment readings (the before on the tire kingdom sheet) were 2.1/2.6 caster and -0.15/0 camber vs Tire Kingdom 1.8/2.2 caster and -0.6/0.3 camber. I re-measured after getting the alignment and I guess the two driveways I measured on were crooked. I was using a self-leveling angle finder and never zeroed it out next to the wheel. Once I did that my measurements were pretty spot on with tire kingdom.

Referencing this diagram, both front cam bolts turned inboard (shorter). Both rear cam bolts turned outboard (longer).

Hello! Just put 265/70/r17 Open Country AT3s on RockTrix wheels that have a -12 offset. Fully stock 2017 TRDOR suspension. Rubs pretty bad when turning. Would strongly prefer not to cut much of anything. Would an alignment possibly fix this issue?

Might be worth a shot if you can find an alignment shop that’ll work with you, but they'll be pretty limited due to your stock UCAs

His wheels have -12 offset, so I’m guessing he’s got 17x9 wheels. The negative offset and wider than stock wheels are likely the culprit.

Seen a couple 3rd gen owners reporting rubbing with with -10 offset and no lift.

    Yup. 17x9 with a -12 offset.

In my opinion, you’ve got several options to explore. We didn’t get a whole lot of info from you, so it all depends on how you use your truck, how bad you’re rubbing and where, how much you’re willing to cut/trim, or how much $ you’re comfortable with spending to make the rubbing stop.

A small leveling kit or lift and adjustable UCAs would likely solve your issues. At the same time, it doesn’t sound like you’re ripping off your fenders, so a little plastic trimming might be the way to go. If you’re rubbing the cab mount, there’s also a ton of info on here for that fix and it’s relatively cheap to do, especially if you got a buddy with a torch/welder.

So my alignment has never been right. Firestone just flat out gave me my money back and the next shop I took it to I pretty much did it for him. It's OK but it's not right. I'm going to go after it again.

Guys with 6 inch lifts, what setting did you end up with on the ball joint? The "D" setting based on a 2-3" lift?

I wasn't sure if we need to go out further since it's a big lift. Currently I'm on "A" and my caster setting is super high.

    2013 Tacoma Fabtech 6" lift.
