99% of people cannot walk into a dealer and "order a tacoma", even those that you allude to are stuck to certain packages, features and colors with trims, so yes its not really ordering, I can't walk in and say hey I want an electric lime SR5 next year and doubt anyone else can either, walk into a Ford dealer and I can piece together whatever color, options, etc. and order it that way from the factory

 

It's not even the same color. My neighbor down the street owns one. If I have i time, I will take a picture of mine right next to it. Electric Lime has a hue of yellow and vibrant green. But let's just say they are the same, is it bad because Kia has that color? Kia also has cement, black, white, and blue cars.. What is your point?

 

You’re 100% right. ELM is a superior color for sure and the fact a Kia has this color is not even remotely relevant. I think some people love hating things when they know their hatred gets a rise out of someone else who may like it. I think the color kicks ass.

i actually drove past a gecko yesterday and had the same thought. it turned into an apt though so i was like yeah nope. if i see one parked at home depot or some shit i'll def do this though.

 

Pro colors mostly come from other Toyotas not Korean cars.
ELM is from a 15 Prius C and looks great on the Tacoma.

 

Yeah it will take me some time for me to take a picture. First, I do not know that neighbor and he/she is out during the day. I can only do it on the weekend if that person is home, but even then it will be awkward if I get caught, it may be even weird LOL.

Where I live I’ve only seen one in the wild that was driving by. It sure does attract attention IMHO. I know it’s subjective but I personally love the colour. I would love to have an ELM Pro (or any Pro) but I don’t like to attract attention and I don’t think I’d wheel it to it’s potential. Still love my “work truck white” Taco and all Toyota Trucks in general tho.

 

Got a few people walking past in parking lots that stopped and said "wow I love that color" but it's not a big deal. I have an s2000 and a grand national that attract way more attention.

 

I didn't buy my truck for other people, and could care less what some random person thinks of the color. Honestly, the only reason I bought the truck is because I think it looks great in Electric Lime Metallic...
