    Yeah one hot and one neutral. Should be a ground wire but this wiring was installed apparently before they new to do that

    Looked into it some and I guess before the 50s ground wires weren't really common

    yup, old house woes lol

    Might be worth peeking behind some of your outlets to see if they're grounded properly :)

    @Yota X

    Bought an Evo saw, the little one.

    Rather than just have one cutting method, I plan on adding a larger horizontal bandsaw so I'll have three (if you exclude mini cut off tool or angle grinders).

    I ended up putting one right next to the video doorbell. They can no longer use the, "Oh I didn't see the sign as I was walking up," excuse.

    If its knob and tube wiring that shit is dangerous. No ground at all, just live unsheathed wires running through your walls. Kinda surprised your landlord would rent that place if it has that, most insurance companies throw a fit if they know you have it.

    BX cable has a metal flexible jacket that serves as a ground, albeit not a very good one.

    Passed a Ford GT today on a neighborhood back road. Not my favorite but man it sounded so nice, even at low speed.

    Yeah living here the last 5+ years has taught me a thing or two about the sketchy characteristics of old houses.

    The one that's on my fence that actually blocks off the backyard is much more aggressive. It literally says beware of dogs not responsible for bodily injury or death you have been warned

    Its crazy that sort of stuff was once state of the art. Doubt they were needed in your area, but for a fun internet rabbit hole, look up octopus furnaces.

    @JKO1998 I refer to my Crocs solely as Lambofeeties to my friends. I’ve made many enemies, and I’ve paid dearly. It was worth it.

    I like the history behind the GT but when I'm a billionaire, I'll still build a crawler over buying a supercar. Actually I'd go rally car.
