Fall food plots are in.keep on raining please,im putting a small one in at the house this week

 

Had this guy pop in not to bad for Florida, my son called him and I hope he gets a shot on him

 

Not big or a deer, but zero points so it's fine. Was fun, heeler actually tracked it down in front of on the blood trail.

Well, put the 1st foodplot in at the house ever. Wiber cant get the hay equipment between the cedar and woods anymore. mowed it down to stubble last week. broke the top with the tiller(lots of rain Sat n Sun) seeded and ran over it with the Kabota to pack it down. red,white clover,turnips,and some other baracsass stuff. we will see?

dont really hunt here at the house. wife likes to watch the deer in the yard and i do also. but there is a good one around. ive seen him and she saw him Fri. so if i see him in season its more shootin than huntin.

 

Opening week in a nutshell. I’ve never blown so many stocks in my life. Worst was trying to do do archery with a broken thumb.

 

I'd love to have access to hunting land like that! The mountain I hunt on is so thick, if you make a 100 yard shot it's considered a long shot.

Got one ladder stand in today . X Stand The Duke . Pretty nice . Attempted to install my Summit sticks and a Lone Wolf lock on but my 60 year old back had other thoughts . Looks like I need more ladder stands . If only there was a way to keep other hunters out of your ladder stand ……….

 

You would think they would let the food plot grow before hanging around it

Season opens sept 10 here. Can’t freakin wait!
Got one good deer on cam. But he hasn’t been back in a couple weeks. Hoping he makes his way back soon

 

Deer season starts Sept 3

 

Morning everyone!

 

Had some hunters come up to the logging site I am on yesterday, didn't see any deer. So, on their way out, they stole a bunch of roadside signs that we had put up where the cutters are dropping trees.
As a FU to those hunters/thieves, nature decided to put the deer at my front door this morning.
My "driveway" alarm started going berserk. I looked out to see 6 deer, saw 2 were spikes before they took off into the brush.

 

Some people can really suck.
