    That’s awesome.
    I have to admit, you find some of the coolest cars.

    I mean, I not a car guy.
    But it is interesting see just what all is actually out there.

    Never imagine a Manual Transmission van.

    Well, other than like a 1980 Ford Crago van.
    3 on the tree I believe it was.

    Still remember sitting on a 5 gallon bucket as rode around town with my grand father and uncle. :rofl:

    Am I the only one who thinks that could kinda be a modern day Ghostbusters thing?

    I have a Garmin, AKA Mindy. Or Cupcake..because it tells me where to go, much like the original Cupcake

    Old Avalon wheels. The holy grail of the Previa was the super charged AWD.

    I would live to find an old 5 speed to tinker with.

    Also Bill, supercharged Previas are far more common than the naturally-aspirated ones; I believe that this one is the holy grail because it's already a stick shift and all of the hard work it done. Literally all you have to do is drop supercharged engine from a 1994-1995 Previa in there and you're ready to go!

    '94 was the very first year for the supercharged engine, but I believe you could still get the NA standard in 1994 as well; I saw a 1991 and a 1993 when I was in California earlier this month, but I see more 1994-newer ones here in the Northeast. Like I said, I call the factory 5-speed ones the holy grails because you don't have to go through the pain in the ass of doing a manual swap. A 1996-1997 S/C motor probably could not be swapped into a 1991-1994 Previa because the newer ones are OBDII and prior to 1996 would obviously be OBDI, but a 1994-1995 S/C could probably swapped into this blue 1992 with little issue...

    I'll be damned! The owner of the van shown above knew the wheels were from a Toyota of some sort, but didn't know for sure what model...

    I would like to point out that since about 2015, I have take pictures of at least half a dozen Previas in the wild, along with 4 JDM HiAces; I have only taken pictures of one US-market 1980s Toyota van. I was shocked that I didn't even see one in California earlier this month! I did see two Previas (a 1993 and a 1991, respectively) in NorCal though...

    @shakerhood
    @Taco critter

    I saw this near-mint 2003 Lexus RX300 in the Wegman's parking lot on Monday, and I was shocked to see that it had not been inspected in almost seven years! The inspection stickers say 12/16, which means it was last inspected and emissions tested in late 2015!

    My guess would be that it is owned by a senior citizen who literally only drives it to the grocery store and back. According to Carfax, it had an odometer reading of almost 200K miles at the time of that last inspection in December 2015. That means it has well over 200K now. Also according to Carfax, it has had two owners, and the second owner bought it used in 2006 with over 87K miles. That means that just over 112K miles were accrued in the first nine and a half years with the second owner, which is about right, and this Lexus would likely have around 150K miles if it didn't have so many put on it the first three years of ownership. By comparison, I put 54K miles on my truck between July 2019 and July 2022...

    Another clue that this Lexus has been owned by the same person since 2005-2006, without resorting to Carfax, is the license plate. It is wearing the old "fade" plate issued from 2000 until 2005. It is possible to transfer plates form vehicle to vehicle in PA, so that is probably how this Lexus has a pre-2006 plate.

    I have met many people who take excellent care of their vehicles, but simply don't bother to get them inspected, so the owner of this Lexus is probably one of them.
