More costly to ship the VietCong tires across the ocean, fuel costs, port delays, even container shortages...

255/85R17 is right at 34", but 4Wheel Parts calls this size Baja Boss AT a 33.2(not sure what thats about).. I like the 255s, and wish there were more 85 options.

I’m curious where you’re seeing the prices for each tire?

4Wheel Parts' website is wrong. MT website shows 34.6". I can confirm the 34.6", I bought one to test fit on my Tacoma.

Front and Rear Locked, 35’s, Chevy 63” swap, Fox Suspension and a bunch of other shit too long to list.
I used to run the Goodyear MTR 275/80/17’s they were a 34.6” with 21/32 tred depth. I liked them they just haven’t made any in over a year.

Well 255 85 17 is 34”, so i guess the next option to size it would be 255/90R17 so maybe it was safer to call it a 85 than a 90.

The tire size numbers are all just suggestions and can vary quite a bit (like 6%). Always go by the tire mfr's actual diameters.

What are your wheel specs? width and offset specifically? And how much cutting did you have to do? Thanks

Wheels are 17x8 -10 offset. I had a cab mount relocation done using DRT fabrication body mounts. I still need to cut more of the inner fenders and also it rubs at the top of the wheel well. At this point I’ve accepted that rubbing is a way of life.

Man, I was really hoping to pull these off on my 17x9 -12ET wheels but I have zero desire to get into a cab mount relocation or severe trimming. Maybe 33's are more up my alley, unfortunately I will have to look at getting narrower wheels to do the skinnies in 33's.
    Thanks for your feedback

^You can avoid a lot of the cutting if you get rid of your -12mm wheels and get something with 0mm offset.
