I know of people in Australia that have a load lid kind of setup and throw all their batteries/fridge/overland gear back there.
As that is a very warm climate, and I haven't heard of any issues, I'd reckon you're probably fine depending.

Though if it was me, I'd probably hesitate slightly given that lithium's don't like the extreme heat (or cold).

Worth looking at the heat ratings for fridges etc as cooling a battery should be doable.
I'll probably at some point come up with my own power pack of sorts that has some cooling built in.

Thanks. I could not find much information online regarding temperature under the tonneau. Not only that, I may have to store propane tank in there, too. At this point, I may have to go for camper shell (more money, and harder to remove). Thanks again.

I’m considering an undercover SE for my 22 TRD OR. Never thought I’d want a one piece hinged cover, but after having trifolds and soft roll ups on prior trucks I really want something I can just flick open from the rear without dropping the tailgate. I’m now between this and the Peragon.

One concern I do have is paint rub. Do you see any chances that the cover may shift over time and make contact with the paint outside of the bed rail covers? I’ve seen that happen before with full on toppers, wondering if it’s a risk with these undercover tops too.
