there is a direct correlation between body fatigue and tire choice here

he is, in fact, on street tires :anonymous:

That doesn't sound too bad, I originally started out just wanting to get the bike across on ferry and had though about doing the Mukilteo to Deception Pass run but the idea of running back that far on I-5 just sounded miserable. Might not be too bad if I were to cut back and forth across on the smaller highways though. My house is like 4 blocks off Hwy 9 in Lake Stevens so I have done a decent bit up and down that both ways.

No, there is a correlation between wind protection and ergonomics. Not tires.

Im on an adv bike, not a dirt bike

telling an ADV rider that they cant ride it like a dirt bike is like a major huge insult slap in the face

might as well insult their mother or significant other !!!

besides, you know adventure starts where pavement ends :boink:

Got the call that the dealer has an Africa Twin AS on the way. Put a deposit down today. Also went ahead and return the KTM back to stock.

Not the worst for off-road. I figured you were on some 80/20s street focused tires from the comments.

Offroad use is in the plan. Their system shows it’s a manual so I’m hoping it’s right.

I bought the Moons Flyeye V2 a few months back but he hasn’t made a bracket yet that fits the ST fairing. I couldn’t wait any longer so pulled the trigger on the Baja Designs.
you interested in the Flyeye? I’ll give you a deal. Never installed.

Took her on a two hour trip yesterday. She's a really fun bike. The seat does get pretty hot but it's not unbearable. She handles so well.

Never felt the need to upgrade the headlight. How does the moon compare to stock? I always feel like advertised lumens/output is always a bit generous compared to actual useable light for most lighting companies.

    Doesn't everyone want a LP9 for a headlight?

Haha. The LP6 fits better inside the fairing. It’s a similar diameter to stock so you don’t have to trim out too much to get it to fit. Besides, I know the LP6 would be way more light than I’ll ever need on the bike. I already have the s2 with the headlight and that feels like enough for me, although I have yet to ride anywhere at night that doesn’t have even minimal street lighting. I think if ever ride out to the desert at night I’d probably want more light. Even then, I have a second S2 I can add. I saw someone used two s1 as turn signals on their Harley with the single wire splitter/resistor for running lights. Seemed a bit excessive but kinda cool.
