I got to get right up close to a wildland fire yesterday, the taco did an excellent job scouting a perimeter around buddy's property. I didn't take pics while driving but there was a lot of open flame, thankfully the local fire districts and the DNR guys were out in full force fighting this thing before it could take too much. The planes were dropping water less than a half mile from where I was, so low overhead I could see pilots and read numbers on the planes.

Can see them in formation here.

After the crews got the wildland fire under control they had to basically babysit this structure as the rafters had caught fire already. Was a hell of a smoke show as the sun went away.

Nice pics, that's some scary shit when a fire is that close that a decent gust of wind could bring it right onto where you're at. They know what started it?

I had a weird dream last night that I turned in a test that I needed to pass to graduate and realized afterward that I missed a whole section of it and was gonna fail, the entire dream I was freaking out and woke up thinking it was real. I haven't been in school in 10 years. All y'alls anxiety is contagious

That's wild, do you normally have vivid dreams?

I woke up in a panic thinking I was drunk yesterday and posted a nude to my Instagram story

No part of that happened lol

 I don't think I've had that one happen yet haha

I don't usually have vivid dreams, for me to actually remember one the rest of the day it has to be pretty intense which doesn't happen often

They think it started on the highway from something and climbed through the ditch to set the fence line on fire.

Why.... why is this so accurate :anonymous:

My old shop opened at 8am but the builders had a long distance to travel for work so they best traffic by starting at 4am. Due to the accuracy of bigsawcat, my old boss said my start time was anywhere between 4 and 8 so I could get that out of the way:laughing:

Fun Fact: that scene was improv by Rob Lowe. They kept it in.
