Nice. I debated doing that but have not due to the weight of it. How are the doors feeling?

99ranged, I spy a Rotopax carrier. Do you carry it inside? If so, doesn’t it smell up the inside? Oops! Looked again…Maxtrax carrier! Duh…sorry.

Thanks! Yea I didn’t realize that box of Kilmat was so heavy. I didn’t notice any issue with the amount I put on the door. The Eva foam for boats is pretty light weight. These doors are already satisfying to slam closed but now it feels even more “solid”. It seems to be reducing the interior door temp when the sun is blasting the camper.

I’ve been debating if I want to pick up a rotopax container. Still not sure mostly because I don’t know where I’d put it!

Nice! I will say my door with the maxtrax does close a lot nicer than the other one (that one always needs adjustment and doesn't shut all the way. (I do have the 1st gen latches though which i think is part of the issue). I was talking with Phil at Vagabond about what they use in their campers. I need to look into that some more but noted it is fairly light. Ill hace to look into the Eva Foam.

No mount on my end but I recently did a trip with a bunch of gas insight as I needed a ton extra. A couple of jerry cans and a 4-gallon Roto and yes it will smell. When I got to camp, I would take it out and open the doors. In terms of sleeping it was no longer noticeable at night and not much of an issue. I likely will add a couple of mounts I can toss up top for when I need lots of extra gas.

But due to needing 91 for my setup and 2 instances where it was limited or non existent (baja and Blackrock) I am adding a Long Range Fuel tank to my list of must haves.

2 spot I would first think of our on top of the camper or on the side of the doors. You could even put it on the rear door if needed if you don't have glass. I plan to add my mounts I had before to the top on a flat bar so I can toss 1 or 2 of them if needed for long trips.

I've been running one of these for years on my Minitruck. They are nice.. but the grips start to deteriorate after a while.. at least with mine.. but that might be due to my work environment and coolant on my hands daily. But just a heads up. I've replaced mine a couple times now. But they do send new hardware every time so I have a nice collection of ring colors to choose from now. Lol

That strap to close the tailgate is an awesome idea.

Just put a deposit on one! Does anyone have any pictures of the blue SP on an MGM Tacoma? Trying to figure out what color to get. Open to other suggestions on the MGM too.

A vinyl wrap on the inside? Haven't really looked into if a bright white type color is available but may be an option...

I dont think it would stick well to the textured surface, but im not positive on that one. Would be cool to have the inside white though, maybe spray paint....

Ill just stick w my led lights and black camper though.

Installed my new inside crossbar this morning (while still cool!)
    Suggestions:
    1) put a piece of painter’s tape on the extrusion between the 2 screws holding the existing bungie cords holders on.
    2) take the existing holders off. You don’t need to completely unscrew them to get them off.
    3) use a cork screw to help untie the bungies.
    4) reinstall the bungies into each end of the new cross bar.
    5) loosely install a screw and nut into each end of the cross bar.
    6) insert nuts aligning with your tape and snug each one enough to hold in place. A helper to hold one end in place would have been nice, but one person can do it.
    7) check alignment and tighten each screw securely.

We shall see if it helps noticeably.

Does anyone have a picture of the lock mechanism? On the inside.

I had an idea to maybe get some actuators and wire them to the truck lock/unlock circuit so it all can be locked/unlocked at once. I installed a pop-n-lock for the tailgate, so I'm thinking something similar to that. Anyone else tried this?
