Afternoon folks. Busy couple of days. Cut off the driver LCA. Added it to the growing pile of vintage truck parts.

 

Whats the deal with that winch?

 

Not sure, 10K Syn line Engo. It is about 7 years old. Fairly sure the problem was not the control box. About 4 years ago new control box was ~$45.00 shipped. Never got around to opening the winch up. Interested? Make me an offer.

Would anyone be interested in buying my pair of 10-foot kayaks? I’m gonna be selling them with the paddles, J hooks and straps.

It’s the kayaks + everything you need to mount and use them with the exception of the life vests.

I’m gonna put up a full add in the next few days but wanted to put a feeler out to you guys first.

 

@Road_Warrior are you replacing them with something else?

 

Yeah, we’re gonna get inflatable kayaks.

We’re planning some long cross country trips and it’s just not practical to haul them that far for an extended period of time on the roof of my camper shell.

I had an engo circa 2014; Control box sparked and the winch died. Since the one you have makes a second dead engo, I'll go ahead and proclaim all of them are junk.

I love kayaks! If I had money for this, I'd consider it, but I don't right now.
